Stay at Ballintaggart Farm

Two bedrooms are in the converted steading (farm buildings) separate to The Farmhouse. A further two bedrooms are available together in nearby East End Cottage. All the rooms are filled with refined rural luxury, homely charm and thoughtful details. Each room benefits from crisp white 200TC Egyptian cotton sheets, feather and down pillows and duvets and beautifully sourced accessories. Luxury towels, plush bathmats, waffle bathrobes, heated towel rails and toiletries from Noble Isle make the bathrooms the perfect place to relax and refresh. After a day in the Highlands, we welcome you back to Ballintaggart Farm or East End Cottage, prepared for cosy fires and delicious home baking with tea, coffee and homemade cordial.

Room one

This room has a super-king sized bed which can also be made into twin beds and has spectacular views of the Strath which can be enjoyed from the room or through the French doors to the terrace where there is a table and chairs and log store and firepit. The room is furnished in soft greys with a pretty quilt, tweed touches and sheepskins. There is a large wardrobe, modern ottoman and chest of drawers.

Room two

This room has a  super-king sized bed which can also be made into twin bed and wonderful views of the fields, hills and valley which can be enjoyed from the room or through the French doors to the terrace where there is a table and chairs, log store and firepit. It is painted in cool shades with gingham prints, a loose knitted throw, cosy sheepskins and contemporary textiles. There is quirky hanging space with three hooks and a large chest of drawers.

East End Cottage

A self-contained, picture-perfect cottage. Located just 0.3 of a mile from Ballintaggart Farm, a seven minute walk away.

Two king sized bedrooms, upstairs loo, downstairs bathroom. Sleeps four. Kitchen and living room with open fire.

An extension of Ballintaggart Farm filled with pops of bright colour, homely charm and thoughtful details.

Not for the faint-hearted this is our boldest room! It has a super-king sized bed against sumptious woolen headboards and cosy locally woven tweeds. There's a view of the River Tay rapids and a bright, drench shower room. Decorated with a fun feature wall and complete with a record player and small collection of records to enjoy during your stay.

This room has a super-king sized bed which can also be made into twin beds. Romantic, neutral tones, locally woven tweeds, iconic anglepoise lighting, Roberts Radio, River view and Team Ballintaggart's mini library complete the look.  Tiled ensuite bathroom with heritage drench shower.

This room has a king-sized modern four poster bed, rich tones, a view to the river and tiled ensuite shower room with heritage drench shower. Inspired by the British Empire in India with nods to this golden era.

This room has a super-king sized bed, a river view and ensuite shower room. It has double aspect windows, lots of light and a unique panelled feature wall and detailing. This room shares a corridor with Room Seven has potential to be interlocking.

Room seven

This room at the back of the building has a super-king sized bed which can also be made into twin beds, beautiful richly upholstered headboard, luxurious woolen curtains and warm, muted grey panels. It also enjoys double aspect windows and lots of light. The en-suite bathroom has encaustic floor tiles, a heritage cast iron roll top bath, serpatea shower and berry tiles. This room shares a corridor with Room Six and has potential to be interlocking.

This room is the cosiest corner in the building, it has a king-sized bed, bespoke head board and wonderfully warm, hushed atmosphere. It has a walk -in dressing space, en-suite bathroom with heritage cast iron roll top bath and separate shower. It also benefits from an rooftop terrace with views to the forests and hills behind Grandtully.
