We offer an assortment of cookery class options - from whole day masterclasses, half day sessions to multi-day residential cook school retreats.

Explore our range of options above, all of which embody our field to fork philosophy - focusing on seasonal Scottish produce and seasonal ingredients.

The course fee is all-inclusive, and we will provide everything you need: aprons, equipment, recipes, and ingredients. You get hands-on cooking time and leave with new skills, confidence, and, of course, plenty of the delicious food you created.

The only thing we do suggest bringing along is some tupperware to take home your food, just for sustainability purposes.

The Cook School is held in the kitchen at Ballintaggart Farm, which is located outside of the village of Balnaguard in Highland Perthshire.

We are easily accessible by car, located about a 15-minute drive from the popular towns of Aberfeldy and Pitlochry.

We welcome guests of all experience, interest and skill levels - from complete novices to seasoned and experienced chefs. Our intimate class sizes allow our in-house chefs to tailor the classes to a variety of skill & experience levels within the room.

This will depend on a class-by-class basis. We will always cater for dietary restrictions where possible, but in certain classes this won’t be possible. For instance - our Meat cook school wouldn’t be able to cater for vegetarians or vegans. The best thing to do is get in touch with us to see how we might accommodate your specific dietary needs.
