Chris and Rachel established and ran Charlie and Evelyn's Table, Edinburgh's first supper club. Having enjoyed rave reviews, sell out success and welcomed well over 500 guests to their table (once belonging to Chris's grandparents, the real Charlie and Evelyn) change was on the horizon and they were ready to shape a new dream. In 2014, after years of talking about how they could change their lifestyles and work together, they headed to London where Chris completed the full Diploma in Food and Wine at Leiths School of Food and Wine. In 2015, they saw and fell completely in love with Ballintaggart Farm and in 2016, they moved here with their three children to build a dream inspired by natural beauty, genuine hospitality and sharing simple pleasures with others.
The steading at Ballintaggart has been lovingly converted into the perfect destination to stay, eat, cook and celebrate.
