Trained at world-renowned Leiths School of Food and Wine, Head Chef Chris has worked as a private chef, teacher and in restaurants in Scotland, London and Cornwall. Enjoy eating his creations or learning to cook memorable food.


Ballintaggart was historically a working farm. Its productive roots are evident today in its orchard with over 30 fruit trees, its 11-acre wildflower meadow, its laying hens, and the beginnings of a kitchen garden.


Just two individually styled rooms designed with great care and attention to the smallest details and comforts. Ballintaggart is the perfect place to embrace nature, take a break from the daily routine and take in the spectacular views.
